Perfect platform for the construction of a large floating home!
Wingate of Chichester was, according to the current owner, originally a lifeboat from the cruise ship SS Canberra. She was decommissioned in the 1980s and started life as a trip boat in Arboath.
Around 1988 she was purchased by a harbour tour company in Chichester where she was given a refit and changed to her present format.
Built in 1961
Deck replaced in 2010
Stern gear replaced in 2015
New wheel house in 2014
Engine is 80hp Ford Dover , rebuilt by Ford in 2010.

Wingate has only run during the summer months, spending winter out of the water.
This vessel is MCA coded for 52 passengers and 2 crew with the licence expiring in 2024. She also has an up to date domestic safety management policy (dsm ).
She would make a perfect and very novel floating bar, coffee shop or fast food boat and would be ideal operating in large marinas or busy harbours.
She could also be converted into a floating home.
